Hi guys. I have an '04 that has 133 000 miles on it, and the previous owner had put in a hyperthech (stayed on level 2). It also has a 6" lift with 325 on it. Now I want to put another programmer in it (possibly PPE, Banks or Edge AT) and do not want transmission or torque converter problems. I tow a 25 foot enclosed trailer twice a week. And I also want to blow the doors off stupid honda guys when I see them at the lights! So basically I want the best programmer for both worlds with out damaging or hurting my high mileage truck.

The floor is open giv'er!

If I were you, I am not sure if you are running any gauges or not but if not then the Edge with Attitude would be a great option. A programmer would require that you stop and reprogram the truck for whatever HP tune you want. If you have the Edge with attitude you can select any level you want with the touch of a button from stock to +90 HP or so. not only that but if you do not have a gauge, then the attitude will monitor Boost and EGT (if you install the probe) for you. I have used these on a few occasions and they work great. you can probably find one of these on the Marketplace for a decent price. If not try Ebay

I don't mind installing guages(EGT) to run a PPE programmer. What do you guys think about the Banks setup? Can anybody give me more info on the PPE, will it cause tranny issues?

Keep in mind that any tuner you run, if it's over 90 hp can and will mess with the stock Alli tranny. If your set on getting more HP, the PPE standard goes up to 225 hp @ the crank, the upgraded models will take it to 350 hp..but ya better have a upgraded tranny..:D
