I've got a problem with my dome light/ map lights on my 05 crew cab. While installing an overhead dvd playing, my map lights stop working, the cargo light on the dash is on but not the light itself and the cargo light button has no effect. All i did was unplug the dome light, that i know of anyways. Anyone have a wiring diagram for the dome/map lights? Or know which of the 3 wires for the dome/map lights does what? Any help would be appreciated...:confused:

A Gry/blk Courtesy suply voltage
B Blk Ground
C Orn Inadvertent Power supply Voltage

Sounds like something else got unpluged or damaged.

I'm on the cape. I finally figured out somehow 2 fuses blew, the one for the dome light and the one for map lights. I was at work so i didn't have my test light to easily check the fuses. Can't figure out how it happened just by unplugging the rear dome;map light out. Oh well, its fixed and my dvd player is in and working. Was trying to suprise my girl by having it finished before getting home. :rolleyes:

I had the same thing happen to me over 2 months ago!! I thought I was the only one. I happened to be replacing a dome light and the same symptoms showed up. Map lights worked only on entry, wouldn't work on demand, and the cargo light is illuminated on the dash and the bed light won't work when I hit the button for it. I check my fuses under the hood and the block under the dash and didn't see anything. What fuses did you end up replacing?? I went to the stealership but with my lift and mods they give me the run around.
