I have an Edge Juice w/ Attitude and a Superchips Max MicroTuner that I have ran seperately on my 03 Duramax/Allison. I am wanting to stack them and I was just looking for opinions on what tranny upgrades I should be looking at?? And if anyone has used this combination how did it work??

when i was talking to customer service at edge they said that is the best stack,i just recieved my superchips micro tuner, i havent ran both together yet, but when i do i will post it. How Was the Superships Seperate from Edge???

It ran good, made alot of power and pulled great. Not quite the same power as the edge but still made good power. Do you have any upgrades to your trans??

I have the Superchips Flashpaq #2805 and I like it alot. Nice smooth throttle in all of the tunes, but again it's not as radical as some of the ones out. I had a Hot Edge that I wasn't too thrilled with because it would slam into 3rd gear. Didn't think it was too healthy for my trans.

I ran superchips and edge w/attitude together,usually ran superchips on #2 setting all the time.If I wanted to blow smoke I turned the attitude 0n 5.Smoked like a freight train.forgot to turn edge off once and went to pass and it sent truck into limp mode. Iwouldnt run them together too hard unless you beef up the ally.

So when the trans goes into "limp mode" its a saftey, it doesent mean the trans is fried does it???? it will reset???

No Ally Trans upgrade though, iam going to take it easy with it. was thinking i was just going to keep superchips on 1 and run the edge on 3, unless i want to smoke, then i will hit it to 5. I dont pull so that shouldnt hust the ally????

ANyone else have suggestions that would be safe, BUT 1ST i have to get my tuner back from superchips getting reprogrammed. Bought it VIN LOCKED.!!!:iamwithst

yea i was told Its a safety feature when theres too much torque.I done it on mine twice.It will throw a tranny code I just went in and deleted it and went on.w/ edge all the way up on 5 and superchips on middle setting (I think thats like 60 hp) I have flat footed it until 3rd gear then I always let out.I was getting a little to brave w/my stock ally though I think but it never hurt it thank god.It was a awesome takeoff until 3rd gear though :D

:wtf:You run edge on level 5, and super ships on level 2???? ARE YOU :crazy:, you must have to much money laying around, ILL TAKE SOME OFF YOUR HAND<, I just cant chance it, so ill keep edge on 3 and supership on 1, i just cant afford to breakthings untill i pay this thing off.

ANd ALSO, DONT YOU STARVE YOUR INJECTORS, you need a lifter pump.

I think I was a little bit of everything young and dumb,and I have been called crazy,but if she would have broke she would have set.as far as the injectors probally did.I didnt know a whole lot about that stuff back then.

I am going to be trying the same thing here real soon. already have the edge w/ attitude and gonna stack it with the superchip. Def wont turn them both up at the same time because i too still have the stock tranny. I am basically trying diff things out on my own. Or i just like to see black smoke and need more of it. This is what i am doing instead of breaking down and buying a efi live.

With the attitude set on 3 it runs like 5, and on 5 I just blow smoke (alot of smoke) and get out of it pretty quick. If I had the trans to hold the power I can only imagine what it would be like, I love it!!!

I am currently running the Superchips on tow-safe mode and I adjust the Edge to the situation.......Get lots of smoke if you lay into it. Pulls hard though it did seem to shift kinda hard. I will just have try not to get to comfortable with it.

Same here i just got mine in last week and WOW what a difference the superchip makes. Not long after i got it in a rice burner pulled beside me on the freeway at 80, we both nutted it and i pulled him hard till about 115 then he pulled me, but it took him so long to catch up to me i had already let off.
