My truck came with 245's and I changed it out with 265's. Now my computer system keeps saying I need to check my tire pressure. Does anyone know how to fix this?

So do you have TPM monitoring on your truck? If so, were the TPM sensors re-installed with the new tires? And, it sounds like the system wasn't recalibrated.

You can try this, if you look at the DIC and scroll through the screens you can reset the pressure sensors. At the end of the reset you hold the reset till the horn sounds. Now I tried this on this truck of mine and it did not work, and a teck showed me the sequence to do it. Then when I took it to the dealer for an unrelated problem, they reset the computer and that took care of it.

That just resets the position of each senser. The only way to get the light off is to up the air pressure. This has been a big deal with alot of people because the dealers dont want to change the thresholds.
