The serpentine belt is squeaky. I have heard that you can spray brake cleaner on it first and see if it takes care of it. Squeaks on cold starts and takes 10 or more minutes to go away. Also, If I need to replace the belt. Any tips!

We've gone round and round with this before. Best bet is replace the belt (that's what I did). The constant squeeking on start up will most likely go away but the chirping when the A/C engages may not. Some say belt dressing will work, some say don't ever use it. Cleaning the pulleys with the belt off using brake cleaner should also help. Also I believe there was a tensioner update on trucks prior to 2003.

Good luck

What year is your truck? There is a TSB out for the '04's for a faulty P/S bracket. My '05 squeaked from day one on cold starts until new belt was put on. Belt dressing made mine worse.

I have never seen one that Permatex spray dressing didn't cure. I have used it since 89. Later! Frank
