I have an 01 D/A and I would like to know if i could run the 80hp TTS tow tune and get away with out haven't to do any tranny mods.

I like some other chpis ajustabities but i run the 80 tun a bit and it is VERY nice. I ran the edges 90 hp tune and it was fine on a stock trany IMO unloaded. I dont know about how the trans will do loaded since I run an aftermarket trans kit in mine but it runs very cool EGT's comparative and has VERY controlable power. When i say VERY I mean VERY. Its like stock except more of it.I plowed snow in the 80HP tune and could keep the tires from breaking lose, it was mutch harder on the edge programing i ran.

Dunoif it would piss off a loaded stock trans or not though since i have 0 experience

What do you have and what do you plan to do? What do you whant to do?

All I have is 4" exhaust and modified air box. I'm going to put AFE 2 intake kit and gages. My ultimate goal is to run TTS Extreme and Suncoast stage III. Only if funds allow and that is not looking very allowing at this time. That is why I thought I would run the 80hp tune for now. The only thing is that I haul pretty heavy when I haul.

Unloaded you would be fine. Loaded it depends on your foot IMO but I bet you could limp it depending on how you are driving. Heavy throttle in OD and when shifting gears is going to be hard on the trans. But if you drive sane you will be ok. EGT wise I believe the tow tune will be fine, it runns pretty cool. Just keep an eye on the gauges.

AFE makes lotsa noise and sounds cool but I dont think there is any real gain to be had perf wise. JMO
