My friend wants to make his stock LLY truck straight piped...the plan is to not replace the entire exhaust...only to cut out the cat(or filter, w/e) and the muffler and either replacing those will 3.5" pipe pieces or 3.5" exhaust flex hose...any opinions, ideas would be appreciated

Just did this on my brothers LLY. Used muffler delete pipe from RPM outlet. And a custom made piece from local shop for the cat. Muffler and cat were cut out and new pieces were welded in.

It definitely is alot quiter than my LB7. But you can hear the turbo pretty good. I think it sounds great.

Did the same thing with mine.
