I'm getting ready to do my Allison and would like some more feedback on the TTS triple before ordering my parts.Pros and cons alike.

Can't seem to find any faults in it.

I placed 2nd in a truck pull with about dozen entries with just a 50HP TTS Tow Tune and the TTS Triple + Suncoast III.

It reduced my ET about .2 seconds, and has not given me any trouble yet.

How many miles you got on it so far? And for the ultimate question, do your rear tires wear out faster than your fronts by more than half?):h

Hmmm... Don't know exactly, but I'd say about 3000-4000, with 1000 towing.

Yeah, my rears got down pretty low so I rotated. I have a birth defect where my right foot weighs about 100lbs.;)

If you are looking for a huge performance gain, don't. You will run a little quicker, but it's not like the gain a 50HP tune makes. You'll feel it, but it's not massive. The main reason I did it was reliability.

Compared to a stock tranny how does it feel? I tow about 50% of the time and beat on the truck the other 50% around town. I'm not expecting a huge gain, just don't want to loose anything.

I had a customer order one from me and talked to a fellow today that wants one installed with the SC III guts..

Looks like people are giving them a look for sure...

Bill,

its been my impression w/ both TTS converters that you won't lose anything. they both have more bottom end than the stock converter. should work well for towing.

I have about 12k on mine and the only downfall is it sucks in the rain ):h. Othewr than that it seems to handle the high hp programs well.

Dont buy it, it sukcs ):h J/K

Seriously though. What do you do exactly with it? call Mike or steve and tell em. They will point you in the right direction. What you pick depends on your uses! There is no perfect converter for all situations, just a perfect converter for your apcation.

Its like is a TTS extreme the best for a guy with a stock ally that just tows? Is it the coice for a guy that wants to turn the best ET? Big freaking difference. Know what i mean?

Bill,

I had the opportunity  recently of towing stock... Censored Juice...

Anyway, the difference is noticable... The truck would hold OD much longer than before going up the same grades as before with the same trailer.... Also, the truck showed more "grunt" when getting started up a freeway onramps or just getting the truck and trailer to "rolling"

With added power..... The TC rocks.... :D

Definately worth the $ IMHO.....
