I pulled into my yard tonight after I was done hauling railroad ties in my 18 ft. gooseneck dump trailer. When I was finished, I loaded up my bobcat and went home. When I got there, I unloaded the bobcat, parked it, and was planning on moving the trailer to its spot in my yard. When I pulled forward, the light for the gear selector was not lighting up, the service engine light was on, and I was not able to drive forward very easily without giving it a lot of pedal. When I moved from neutral to drive, it slammed in a lot harder than it ever did. Reverse seems to work fine, but my forward gears are very weak. I pulled it in the shop, hooked up the code reader and it only gave me a P0700 TCM Malfunction.
What could have happened?
I know this transmission has been limped once, but I have been pretty easy on it ever since because I cannot afford the transmission upgrade that I want.
Thanks for the help!!!!
