I keep reading people refering to an extended warranty on the duramax over the standard 100,000
if so how much longer and for what trucks

The only extended warranty past 100K is for the injectors on the 01 & 02 model years. It is good for 7 years or 200K. Later! Frank

Why isn't the warranty on 03's or later?

Because they thought the injector problems were only on the 01-02s. Probably when the 03s are nearly out of warranty they will extend it. So far it's on a case by case basis. Some people have had injectors replaced and warranty extended on 03s.

I would love to get some copies of the warranty receipts of the 03's that have been covered. With proof that some have been covered with the extended warranty it would be easier to get all covered.
