That was great, only thing I would mention is when you load the second tune, you gota click the button that says load alternate calibration (some people like i did my first time) might just hit the load calibration button and it won't work. I learned one thing from someone on here was to save your stock file to a new name before you open it to run the script that way you alreayd have it saved twice and don't have to worry if you hit the wrong save button about overwritting it. Great job and nice pictures, my GF could probally figure this out now and she's pretty dumb :D

I was wanting to create a script of a tune I got. It has a different OS than my stock tune. Same engine (LBZ) but different OS. Can this not be done or shouldn't be done? My EFI tells me it won't run a comparison because OS's are different. Thanks

I just went through this. You need to find a stock tune with the same operating system and run the script - then apply the script to your stock tune. Couple of cautions: check to make sure the stock and modded tune have the same size fuel tank and tire size as your truck; if the script doesn't seem to work right (problem I've had) I find it's easier to take the comparison and copy and paste the changes rather than running the script. Takes longer, but it helped me to learn efi a bit better and understand how to read the scripts/comparisons.

Good luck!

My OS is 12606128. The OS I scripted (thanks Smokin96lly) 12604138. In the latter OS I can't go into the fuel system parameters to check and see if its a 34 gallon tank or a 26 gallon tank. In my OS I can see that my fuel tank capacity is 129 liters (34 gal.) ???

You can run the script and then check to see that you are still set at 93 liters. That's one of the bad things that can happen from scripting. But If you are not able to see the fuel system parameters in either the stock or modded tunes, then I would imaine that it would not be in the script you create, since it only looks at the changes between the stock and modded tune.

Actually everything reads 129 litres. I could have sworn that it read 93 but I checked my 12 copies lol of my stock tune and they all say 129. So thanks guys all worked out. I'll see if I can load it tomorrow. BTW this was GaiterBaiters rpm + power tune that he posted yesterday or so that I was scripting. I also see from his sig that he has a shortbed.
