Alright Juicers, Im ready to step my LLY up a little, I don't need extreme power, just more if you know what I mean. My question to you guys is all the problems with the LLY Juice (which we all read about here) a reason not to buy it, or maybe wait till they figure some more out on it? It sounds to me like barking the turbo is really common, but maybe im mistaken. I like the built gauges in the attitude, which gauges is something I would add anyway, thats if I dont get the juice and just but the predator, so what do you guys think..any regrets? Are the problems really that bad with the LLY Juice?

P.S. I don't drive my truck everyday, and when I do..ie..weekends, trips, etc., Its more of a hobby for me, so to speak.

I have no problems with mine on my 2005. I do get the bark every once in a great while though.

there aren't really problems with the Edge, its mainly the old code on the LLY computers and the Edge just amplifies the bugs.. once that is reflashed the Edge works just fine.

The only problem with the Edge is your foot and Level 5-- may cause tranny damage depending on your driving style.

So its really not as problematic as some of these guys make it out to be? Its good to hear some posative feedback.

Braino, did you finally get your truck reflashed?

most of the problems are caused by a lead foot.. LOL

I actually go this afternoon to get the reflash done..been taking forever. I am talking directly with the diesel mechanic and he says to just bring it in and he will do it.

Mine runs like a champ. Fuel mileage went south at first eben when I drove it real nice. Now, after about 1.5 months, it is back up to normal mileage. I have the Juice with Attitude and it is a great product!

I do not have any problems with mine. I have a 04.5 and it has not been reflashed. I now have 2800 miles on it. I got the Edge 3 weeks after getting the truck. It only had about 500 miles in it when installed. The only problem is I can't let my 17 year old son drive my truck. Don't trust him with all that POWER!!

I have no complaints about the edge/attitude other than I dont dare go past level 3 with out modding the trans. If I had it to do over I would have saved a few hundred and got a programer. Just my thoughts.

I've got almost 20k miles on my truck, 15k of those with the Edge on. I run level 3 ALL the time, haven't had one problem yet. My truck does not have the reflash, I'm keeping it that way unless something funny happens. I think it's a great product and couldn't imagine driving around without it.

I have always said that not everyone experiences the problems with the LLY Edge that I do. Some have good luck and others don't.

I have had an opportunity to drive a few different tuners, and I will say that my experience is that it is not the best option available right now as far as drivability goes.

If you are going to run Level 3 Edge exclusively and tow, the smoothness does not match the TTS Tow. If you want to hotrod, the power does not match the LLY Predator.

I still believe they will figure out why some trucks run erratically with the LLY Edge, and Edge customer service is second to none, so I'm sure those with problems will hooked up when it is sorted out.

For me, for today, for my truck, the Predator is currently the "hot ticket".

Rick,

Can you elaborate on your LLY Edge experiences? It sounds like you do some serious driving and not just "hot rodding," which is the kind of info I'm interested in. I'd like to hear your story.
