My brother is wanting to install an overdrive transmission into his '89 Dodge 250. It has a Cummins with a 727. I suggested installing a Allison but I can't find who makes a adapter to do this. I have heard several people talk about it on here but know one says who makes the adapter. Can anyone help?

the best bet would be a AT545 and get a 5.9 SAE #3 bellhousing

No way.. AT has no lockup and is NOT and overdrive trans.

You would however be able to use the SAE #3 bellhousing if you wanted. Otherwise call Suncoast Converters and ask about their billet Allison conversion adapters.
