I am putting a leveling kit on my truck and I want to bring up the rear an inch of so. Would it be alright to use a 1" solid aluminum block on the rear? I have a dually and the suspension is stiff enough as it is so I don't want to add another leaf. I have heard some stories about the aluminum blocks but that was mainly tall blocks. Thanks

Solid aluminum blocks will work fine. I take it you just want to get the rear a tad higher than the front after the Cognito leveling kit?

Exactly, I do alot of towing and I have an auxillary fuel tank. I don't it to sag too much.

Why not use steel?
