I thought of this the other day and did not know if it can be used to read codes on other cars?

One of the reasons I got it was to read codes on 06 duramax but got to thinking if it could be plugged in to other cars odb2 and read/clear codes?

Mine will read codes from other GM vehicles but I have never been able to sucessfully clear a code on anything other than my 2500HD. Not a big deal to me since disconnecting the battery overnight seem to work well for clearing trouble codes.
