First, let me state that this website is a wealth of knowledge. I really enjoy the forums. It's just amazing at the knowledge and practical experience that is available here for the asking. I would like to thank you all for the valuable information. I am getting a great deal of information, but it is in bits and pieces. I am having trouble connecting some of the dots. Does anyone know of a fairly comprehensive book on diesel engines. This would help me connect some of the things I have learned on this website and help bring me up to the level I would like to obtain. In reading the threads, I feel I am not the only one in the position. I have searched the net and there are lots of books out there. But I don't know which ones are worth the reading. Any ideas,,, websites??? books?? classes??

Go to yoru community college if they have a diesel tehc program, go to the book store and ask for some entry level books, shouldnt be more then 30-40 a piece
