I saw where they finally came out with a lift for our trucks. I like it because you you change the amount of lift you want with a push of a button. I don't know the exact heights. I know the dodge goes from a 5" to 13" lift after you fill the air bags. Do you think that this would be somethiing to look at investing in. I didn't know if any of ya'll had any experience or more knowledge about it than I did. Here is the link with some pics if you wanna check it out. http://www.keldermanmfg.com/productdetails.php?id=01GMLIFTCUSTOM

interestig idea, but it has to be IMPOSSIBLE to keep it aligned, especially if you ever move the front end up and down. the caster/camber would change dramatically when you went up or down in the front. but whoever came up with it is pretty creative. -Jeff

Well that idea of getting one is out the window. I called them this morning and they said that they have a 5-6" lift and I think 8-9" lift. The cheapest one was around $4,500, and the other one was in the mid $5,000 range. Too much for me. Maybe if I had the money.

Codythom,
When you called and got the info, did they specify the the amount of lift with the airbags? I assume the 5-6" or 8-9" is the base height and you go up from there on the airbags.

There is no chance of having more than a couple inches of adjustablilty for our trucks. The dodge kit is for SFA so alignment isn't an issue. Just a big old swing-arm with some bags up front so it can move as much as it wants, and for that price I would think about going SFA, lifting it 15-18 inchs and leaving it that way

When I talked to them, I was under the impression that it is just that one inch of movement. So like chaps said, we don't have the ability to be able to have the wide range like the dodge did. I can knock a few thousand off and just stick with an RCD kit.

Thanks for the info guys. After seeing it on their dodge it looked like the ultimate in versatility. One inch doesn't cut it though.

Well of course the dodge would, and a ford could too, but I think most everyone on here just wants to know about Chevy/GMC kits.
