ive got a viper 791xv remote start with a turbotimer in my truck i was wondering if i have to set the timer every time i get out of my truck and also if i set the timer and walk away i noticed that my radio stays on after my truck shuts off so basically the radio is on while no one is in the truck i know it does this from the factory when u shut the truck off but when u open the door to get out it goes off but the problem is with the turbo timer u are out of the truck and it shuts off anyone have this same issue

I've got the Python 990, which is very similar. It has to be set everytime, which is just pushing buttons 3 & 4 together, then key off and get out. I think mine runs for 1 minute then shuts off. My radio goes off with the ignition so that's not a problem.

The turbo timer needs to be setup each time that you use it. Your unit will run for probably 1-2 minutes and then shut off. As for the radio staying on, obviuosly your r/s bypass doesn't do a radio off after shutdown. This isn't a big deal as the radio will only run for a couple minutes and then shut down. If you want this to shutdown, send a negative pulse after shutdown to the driver door trigger wire.
