today i got codes 103 and 101 i was wondering if anybody knows if it is the maf itsself that needs to be changed or if it is in the wiring. dont really want to spend 400 buck on a new maf sensor if it is in the wiring.
thanks mike

Correct me if I'm wrong but your afe stage 2 has a "wet" filter right? I would guess that the oil on the filter has gotten on your MAF sensor. I think others have cleaned it (MAF sensor) with brake cleaner but I could be wrong. Search for MAF sensor threads. I think your answer will be there.

Yeah, clean the MAF with a good electrical contact cleaner or MAF cleaner and you should be OK. Be careful about over-oiling the filter or you will have this happen again.

Anything that is cracked would be suspect if the truck is running erratically.
Did you check the two main connections that the edge plugs into? You will probably need a flashlight and mirror but I'd be looking for pins that are recessed further than others. Some of the pins can get pushed out the back of the connector and then not make a solid connection causing all sorts of problems...

i will check that again and see.
Thanks again mike

Also, check the wires on those cables that plug into those two big harnesses. If they were rubbing on anything while your edge was installed, that can also cause problems like you are seeing.
