I have gave some thought to putting a intake on my 2004.5 Dmax/Alli LLY. I am curious if they are really worth the money that they cost. And if so which one should I buy? AFE, K&N, Airraid. I would greatly appreciate any help! Thanks!

Don't waste your money. They don't help any more than the factory. The factory filters better too. Do a search, someone did a test on alot of filters. I can't remember who.

Another on the market soon. A Scotty Max. I had a Scotty I on my dodge, and loved it. But then again I wasnt going to turn Scotty down. He is a bit bigger than me.

Some will say yes and others will say no. You will get more turbo spool with an aftermarket intake but as far as performance and gains, nothing to speak of. If you will go through the performance section there is a thread there on air filters and IIRC almost every single one on the market for these trucks was tested... You will be shocked at the results.
