I have a question I was wondering if anyone could answer. I don't drive my 04 D'max everyday. I noticed when I started it the other day to pull it out of the garage that after it started the voltage showed about 9 volts and it stayed there for a couple of minutes then came up to normal level. Is this normal or is this something I need to take it in for and have looked at? I only have about 6000 miles on it. Mine is a 04 ex cab sb 4x4 dmax allison in white, love it so far.

It is perfectly normal. I believe it's the intake grid heater heating up the intake air that's drawing down the voltage. (Correct me if I'm wrong here techs.) It will do that for about a minute or two (sometimes more, sometimes less) on my truck when it's real cold out.
