Very tough time shifting transmission out of park


I park on about a 15-20 degree slopped driveway


This problem seems to improve after the truck has been run


for awhile I have only had my truck 2 weeks and don't


know if this is something I should have checked out

The parking thing.... That is standard issue with all automatics if you mean it's hard to physically move the shifter out of park. When parking on an incline... always set your parking brake before putting your truck in park. That will help.

If it just doesn't go into gear even with the shifter in drive, I beleive that's a drainback issue. I have heard of that before and find it odd that an 04 would still exhibit the same symptoms.

Take it in for service if it's the latter.

Its the former it is physically hard to move the shifter out of park
