k i got my p3 controller in the mail today. also got a wire harness for it. now with my previous truck i just looked around and found where i plug this in on the truck end pretty easily. but this being my first GM i think im might be alittle lost.... Where do i plug this in at? what do i need to remove to get to it?? i tried to search but didnt come up with the specifics, so take it easy on new guy.
thanks for the help

Fill out your sig so we know what truck you have. My prodigy hooked up above and to the left of the brake pedal. I think it was the spot on the left in the white relay panel, there were 3 open slots if memory serves me. I dont remember if there was a cover on the panel or not.

Hope this helps.

If it is the classic, follow the directions in the owners manual. Be sure to insert the fuse that comes with the harness from GM.

That's a great little tutorial. Thanks! I wonder though.....must you leave the cover off of the fuse panel now that your new controller is plugged in there? Or is there a knock out for it?

Just route it out one of the notches already in the plastic cover, there is plenty of room in the top also. No cutting required on my 05, just zip tied it in place to an existing bundle and put the cover back in place.

make sure you have the correct harness if you have a 07 classic. camping world sold me the one for a 06 or whatever and one pin was in the wrong area for some odd reason and it wasnt getting power to the brakes.. power to the unit but not from the unit to the brakes went up there he pull the pin apart moved it up and works like a charm...
