My brother in law works for AVL and apparently he's testing a diesel engine composed of AVL and ford parts. I did read something that said there were not many changes they needed to make to the 6.6 in order to make it 2010 compliant. Dodge is the only one that had to go to a bigger displacement to meet that. n0dih 11-12-2007, 10:31 AM I have a friend who used to work for Ford, apparently Ford is working on an actual Ford only designed diesel and it sounds like a good design, far better than the 6.4L TTD and the nightmarish 6.0L diesel. It was a 7L a few years ago, not sure what it is now.
