Talked to a few guys at the local 4wheel drive shop today about a programmer. They stated that the BullyDog PMT for the new LMM is a great choice for a programmer. I know a lot of people on here use the PPE and/or EFI live. Just curious as to why not have a programmer and monitor with nav in one?

Hey TampDmax,

Alot of guys use PPE, EFI live and a ton also use Edge, Bullydog, Hypertech etc. Basically with EFI live you can customize you tunes and make adjustments along with critiqing smaller items and pulling what you want out of it. It is just a personal preference IMO but its just what you are planning on doing to your truck. Alot of guys are running guages to monitor so they dont need all the doubled options IMO. I have a brand new PMT if you are interested in buying one, just shoot me an email!!!

is the PMT out yet for the LMM and correct me if im wrong but it does have all the safety features built in correct. In a perfect world I would like to put on a turbo back exhaust with an intake. Then basically just a programmer of some type. I recently installed a 6'' lift w/ 35's sittin on 20's . love the look but my truck is deffinately slower. thanks for the reply.

they don't have it out yet for the lmm. personally i would go w/ either the ppe or the edge unit. it all depends on what your doin w/ the truck though. i do know that did have some programming issues w/ their pup on the LMM too.

I think its because it gives you the most power. I am debating about getting the edge with attitude or the ppe unit. I just want something simple that will give me extra noticable horses and good mpg. I would like to read codes, and correct tire sizes with a few extra stuff.

Probably b/c PPE just doesn't have trouble w/ their tunes. But the #1 reason.... Customer service! That goes a long way! Not to mention the available power options w/ the PPE!

PPE has a range of levels all the way up 425 for the 06-07 lly/lbz's. The have a range of smaller tow tunes up to the crazy 400+ tunes. PPE makes an awesome tune and tuning support along with the actuall tuning that goes in the truck. They have tested it and make sure it is top notch, dont get me wrong the other companies do this too but it seems to me that they have an advantage. I ran PPE in my truck and I LOVED IT!!! JUST IMO

....and no the tuning from Bullydog is not out yet for the PMT but should be out here sometime soon.

Thats true, that is why I am getting one soon. I know they offer two versions, which one did you buy?
