Can someone point out where the plug in for the block heater is located on a 2007.5? Is this standard equipment or optional??

do a search for a plug under the passenger side coolant tank. It's zip tied to a wiring harness against the wheel well.

THANKS!! BTW, do you know what type of ampreage this thing pulls? Will a normal extension cord suffice?

Hey, I have been in SoFla when it snowed! Perhaps not that far south, but at least Clearwater! What were you looking for that thing anyway!

It draws A SH!TLOAD of power! I plugged mine (Old 02) into a timer so it would heat 4 hours before I went to work last year (for a month) and my electric bill almost doubled. From that point, she got cranked on cold. With the past two DMAX's, I don't plug in unless it's under -10 outside. I have NEVER had a problem starting, at all.

X2 On That...i Would Rather Drive To Work Cold Than Pay That Kind Of Electric Bill Again......def Use A Good Extension Cord....

200w...............

not bad, just think about your wife's hair dryer at 1250W for 35 minutes. Adds up. 200W is less than the floodlights on the side of my house.

He he! Very good! Wives are expensive all the way around! 200w isn't bad until you start plugging these in for four or so hours every night! Was reading my manual (again) and found that the block heater only works below 0. Hopefully, there won't be too many of those days this winter in Buffalo!
