Hi. I was after peoples thoughts on Water Mist Injection.
Do you guys think it is worthwhile on a non-turbo 6.5?
Does the water cause corrosion problems? Whats stops too much water being sprayed in at low speeds?

check Faqs above WMI covered there, pressure switch set for 7 psi boost is what most use

I believe you might see better results when injecting water at 10 psi and above. Heat really isn't there at lower boost for a complete "burn". To be most effective in a vehicle without air-to-air charge cooling, water should be vaporized. If you're going to run meth, pump selection is critical as methanol (methyl alcohol) is rather corrosive. On the most simple systems, water injection is determined by both the pre-set boost level (often a Hobbs pressure switch) and pre-set flow (flow control valve with check valve).

WMI is a method of lowering heat of compression, Malcie - don't think it will do much good on your n\a engine.

You might wanna inject some propane, if you're looking for power increase.....

Opening up the intake tract will help, also.
