Hi folks,
Anyone know whether there is a drain plug in the fuel tank of my truck (see signature below). I have water and I can't get it all out by suction.

Appreciate any help.

Is you WIF light on or how do you know there is water in your fuel? Cause if your light is on that means there is water in your fuel filter and there is a water drain on the bottom of that. All you have to do is open the botom drain on the fuel filter and pump the primer pump a couple times then close the valve and the light should go out.

You might try pulling the fuel line off somewhere convenient and put it in a bucket. Then remove your fuel cap and pressurize the tank with an air hose. Go easy on the pressure 10 or 15 psi max should do it. Since water is heavier than oil, you should blow out the water. When you get a steady stream of diesel, you should be good to go.

Only other alternative is to pull the tank.

Nothing like having to drop a 34 gallon tank down, especially if you just filled up and there is a problem. Ask me, I've had to do it once............once.

If you have a lift pump, you can pump it out;)
