Who makes this hood protector?? It says at the GM accessories site that it won't fit the HD. I'm sure most of you have seen this picture at the GM site. I've seen lots of them around like this on the HD but don't know who makes them. Thanks to all and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

The 05 hood is a new style. Much taller in the center. I think Lund has a part number, but it isn't ready yet.

It will fit an 04 HD if it will fit an 04 1500.

lund interceptor - i have one on my truck and i have no complaints. sits off the hood, and installs in 10 minutes with no drilling. 2005 models just came out

I like the chrome ones. Any pics of them?

I have read the the metal ones deform in the wind, and develop creases in them.

Any thoughts?

I have a chrome metal one and it look's awsome and works great. No creasing so far!

No pics Pete, but it looks just like the ones on the lot... Victory Red, 04.5 2500 HD D/A 4X4 Ext Cab Shortbox. Completely stock except for 3 antennas on the roof, service tank, and tool boxes.. Almost forgot Westin Stainless Steel black nerf bars.
