Pretty high on their to do list. May not be a DSP, but the're looking into switchable tuning for sure.

I may be crazy, but this kinda makes sense in my little head.......:o: And someone may have mentioned something about this before but I have never seen it. Do you guys think it would be possible to do switchable tuning on our LBZ's by possibly having some sort of module that pugs into the OBDII port that has either a usb input and internal memory, or an SD card reader. And the software needed to load tunes built into this module, and a wire coming out of it with a switch similar to the DSP 5 switch that would control which tune the module would load onto the ECM. I know this is easier said than done, but it seems like the guys at EFI have done some more amazing things before :D Am I crazy or does at least someone out there in the wonderful world of DP agree with me???

i had a thread on this...pretty much what u are thinking...it would be nice if we could have like the ts-p8 or whatever it is called that has about 4-8 different settings for the lb7,lly, and lbz even...so would it be possible to like make a ts performance type thing for the lbz...seems like it would...however the ts performance people do it wherever it plugs in it would be cool if we could get that made into a wiring harness we could load our own tunes from efi onto it...i dont know just seems like it would work...im sure someone who knows what they are talking about will enlighten us :):)

EFI has a few tricks they are working on to get more than one tune out of the LBZ/LMM. It is a very complex ECM to do this with and it is taking a long time to work out the bugs. Trust me, it is being worked on!!!

i am excited!! would love to have a switchable tune on my lmm. keep my low power tune in so i don't keep wasting fuel on my big one and gettiing 4 regens in one tank:D

oh i want to and plan too as soon as i have some funds available for the new exhaust and a place to store the old DPF for trips back to the stealer!!

i thought that one of the up coming feachers on the V2 will be standalone uploading ? swichable tunes on the fly would also be sweet tho.

LBZ/LMM switchable tunes is something we'd love to add, however the Bosch ECM is very different in it's structure to the LB7 and LLY Delphi ECMs.

Ross is working on some DSP enhancements over the coming weeks for the LB7 and LLY guys. We have some different ideas on how to do this for LBZ and LMM but we haven't started the development process so can't confirm if it will work. Either way, I doubt there will be any public results before Christmas.

Cheers
Cindy
