Anyone have any new from banks on when the six gun will be available for the LLY. And does the cat back monster exhaust from banks really help the performance of the LLY any at all.

a_chevelle 12-07-2004, 11:23 AM I installed a cat back monster exhaust from banks. Very easy to install. I can't say it gave me any more power or mpg. It did lower my exhaust temps a little. But it does give you a chance to do a little research on the mods you want. My husband said I could'nt get it if it was loud and it actually is very quiet, just throatier sounding. I can only hear it from outside the truck. With the exhaust and K&N filter installed, on the same roads pulling the same weight it downshifts almost none now. That is the only thing I can tell, but that is enough for me. I just got a tracking # from Banks, my 6-gun is on the way. I hope the speedloader is with it, because they said they were backordered. Installing Transfer Flow 50 gal. Tank/toolbox combo next thursday, hope 6-gun is here then also. I'll let you know how it runs. Akila 01-13-2005, 02:57 PM Installed the Banks Monster Exhaust about 3 weeks ago. Cut up the old exhaust to get them out, smooth after that. Sounds good when I ride in the Truck, at first I just fired it up & couldn't tell much difference, but after actually driving it, it sounds real nice with that nice deep rumble. My system is from Turbo back no Cat. Banks emailed me on Tuesday & gave me a tracking # for my 6 gun & speed loader, should be here today. I tried many multiple ways and you can still here more of the engine!:eek: I will email blown65 what I have and maybe he can help me pick a worthy file.
