No No No. That is REDICULOUS GMC. That was not a for sale post! A for sale post includes a detailed description, pricing, location, terms of purchase, etc.

He posted pictures of his truck.

People Commented

He then posted about how he might be selling something soon due to real estate (his house or something?)

I posted inquiring about what he was talking about, so see why he would sell such a nice truck when he just spent a good deal of money customizing it. Trying to get an explanation. I also mentioned, that if what he was referring to was his truck, then i would be interested (as MANY on the site would, as its a clean vehicle.)

This thread is a post showing pictures of a truck. Why were my and other replies deleted commenting on it? Thats ludacris IMO.

Is this a conflict because I didn't use a Texas shop for the lift. Anyone can see this post and decide for themselves what they think. I certainly did not post this as a for sale add, but rather to post why it is that people like me go to good reputable shops like Norcal rather than doing business in Houston.

Okay, having some deja vu....coulda swore I posted a comment earlier today.
Sick truck tuckerdog. On my next truck, I'm def. swaying towards white with black wheels. However, I am quite happy with my setup I have right now. Therefore, if you were to say you would be selling your truck, I would say, "boy, some lucky son of a gun is gonna land him a nice truck"....and I would ask (as I asked eariler), why? What's the story with that? I'm just very curious why you get her looking like that and then leave her.....not trying to buy anything on this thread.....
Again, VERY nice setup bro.

To answer the what if questions that may be suitable for the mods.....I was getting ready to build a home. Then, stumbled upon a very nice home already built that was in forclosure(1.7 Million). Low balled the hell out of it (495K) and the bank took it. Sooo, after buying the other lot, and then impulse buying something for another 495, the truck is some weight that I don't need to carry at the moment.

The market was too hot down here. We could all see it coming. Most property in California was selling and people were dumping money here like mad. Now that it has slowed down around the country, houses can be bought at 1/2 to 1/3 of what they were on the market for. I have tied up about every lose coin that I have, so owning a 50K truck doesn't make much sense at the time. I won't sell my cars, so the truck goes.

Be careful on what you say in here. These words may be used for selling items on here and that is not tolerated!:D

Only if it is something that is a direct conflict of interest....such as sending business to a supporting vendor. That, is expressly forbidden:rolleyes:

I took out the portion of the posts that were not suitable nor allowed by the guidelines of the forum to be posted in the general sections of the site. Threads of that nature fall in a grey area but still we (staff) have to err on the side of caution. We set up a market place and those posts were suitable for that section, that is why they were removed.

Has absolutely nothing to do with that. On that particular post I just asked a simple question, was not meant to go against anything you did. I know lots of people that get better deals else where and that is why I asked. I am always looking for a good deal and if I have to go to another town or state to get it then I would too. I guess I left the smiley off that one. :D

Sorry you feel that way. None of this in any manner is personal at all.

No sending business to a supporting vendor is not forbidden, I simply relate to the posts above and state that I just asked a question.

The ride is much better than stock. 37s would work if you turned the torsion bars and did some trimming. The 10 inch kit set at 10 would be ideal for the 37s. The ride with the control arms is great.

Threads of that nature fall in a grey area but still we (staff) have to err on the side of caution. At no time did I post this for sale.

That would have been a waste of a smiley. Everyone on this forum can read through that.

It is personal. I don't know you, and you don't me. I don't post much at all, but you do know who I shop with....and that is where the personal part comes in to play.

When you interject garbage in someones thank you thread about using a vendor that is a huge voice on this site, you are showing your displeasure.

You can edit this or spin it in which ever direction you wish to, but a guy with 13000 + posts that is a Ford guy, being a mod on a GM site is pathetic. I hope that an incident like this would bring you out of the closet, and a true moderator would be chosen to run such a great site.

Whoa man... you're outta line.

GMC, as his name implied, used to have a Dmax. And technically this isnt a Dmax only site, although it is heavily populated by such.

Its over and done with... time to move on. :coolio:

Moving on. Those are my two cents. Just taking the political path out of something that they directly initiated is pretty weak.

That is all, carry on.
