Getting ready to replace injectors and glow plugs. Also figure to replace rubber fuel lines and fuel filter while I'm in the mess. Anything else I should replace while I've got it torn down?

Would it make life easier to pull the upper and lower intake?

What diameter are the rubber supply and return lines from lift pump to fuel filter, fuel filter to IP and return to fuel tank?

I found out my glows weren't working in the middle of a 6000+ mile trip 2 weeks ago. Old glows likely had 250,000+ miles on them. Replaced the drivers side with what was available Autolite ASP1110. Not my preference but when you are in the middle of nowhere you go with what you can get. Didn't help much, think the relay is fooched and they aren't getting juice. Will there be a problem installing AC 60G's in the passenger side or should I keep them matched?

One of the hoses is straight &the other is moulded with a couple of turns. You can fish them thru under the intake by tying together ,pulling the new ones in as you pull the old ones out. gaskets are over $ 20 bucks & the intake is a challenge as there is a lot of interference. Less time to fish them thru. Best to get an O-ring for the heater at the bottom of the filter manager & replace it now also. Just unbolt the FM,release all lines & give it a good cleanup inside & out. Check for the interior thimble filter on the pipe.

Is that molded hose a dealer item?
