They have it in a surburban. Same wheelbase as a gasser. It's going to sell like crazy. I will post pic's as soon as I can.

the 6.2/6.5 were sold in 1/2 tons, reliable if used for what they were designed for (needed to relocate the pmd on 94+ 6.5L diesels though).

I could retire the 97 6.5 suburban with 180.K

I want to know if they are going to offer a manual tranny in it. I would get a 2wd shortbed regular cab with the 4.5 and six speed manual with posi, black, Then would come EFI live and 6" stacks.

I could do without the sixspeed, but I'm on the same page with the rest of the options

I would be impressed/happy if GM comes out with anything diesel in a light duty soon, let alone be picky about it. I know how fast GM moves, hopefully its not just another Cammaro that takes three years and counting too long to come out.

Personally, I would rather have them take a little extra time and get it right, then rush it out and let the public do the beta testing for them ( Microsoft.)

Do you agree??

The only thing is their testing takes a year to two too long, its ridiculous.

No, actually it is better they do it, get the flaws out of it, and then market it. Mercedes, for example does this on a regular basis. The Microsoft (Microshaft) approach of letting us do the beta testing is why people get mad and buy other brands, usually Asian, or European.

I bet the wait will be worth it.

JMHO.

I had a very good look at 4.5L at SEMA. I told Ross I wanted one as long as we could tune it :)
