Same here... mine is reading low too ! I'm reading about 25 at an idle and barely 30-ish traveling down the road......

Normal. Mine runs between 20-25 at idle and about 35 on the highway. If I'm on it, and the rpms are up, its up around 50, but not for long.

Mine has read @ 30 psi for about 14,000 miles...

After the engine heats up ~30 is very normal. Stepping on it pushes the pressure to 60, but once you let off the pedal the pressure decreases. Worry if the pressure is @ 15 or @ 60 for long periods of time.

If the oil pressure pump is like the 2006 LBZ/LLY's, then they are low pressure, high volume pumps. Earlier Duramax's were higher pressure, but they changed them, maybe in 2006. The pumps put out a higher volume of oil to do the job! My 06 LLY reads 30lbs. at idle, and 55lbs. at 65 mph. During the first startup when the oil is colder, the pressure is higher, around 80 lbs or so, but when warm, comes back down to the above mentioned pressures.

minimum allowable spec at idle is 14psi...your truck is fine. :) ;)

I thought the same with my 2007 LMM. Perfectly normal, but rattles the nerves at first.
