I hooked up a pyro gauge today followed all the insructions and the gauge worked fine when i first started the truck...I drove it down the street and the EGTs went to 1600 wright away and wouldnt go any lower..The truck is all stock so what am i missing? Its a autometer gauge with an autometer, i think competition probe... Any help would be great..

Bad ground or bad probe?

Maybe just a bad probe. Does the pyro have a signal amplifier box - that could be bad. Could be a loose connection or bad ground. I'd call Autometer and see if they have any suggestions.
