I posted this in the 6.5 diesel engine forum not thinking that it is a trans topic so I will post it again
I recently bought my burb and I am wondering if I have a bad torque converter or they are really loose from the factory. When I accelerate the rpms go right up to 1700-2100 and it hardly moves. It feels just like my friends race car with a 2500 stall. If this is how the torque converter is stock doesnt that defeat the purpose of a diesel's low end torque(800-1500 rpm). Any input would be great. Thanks
