I've been running the supership tuner since about 8k 22k mostly on the Performance/Tow setting at 65HP. I haven't had any problems except it occasionally trips the Overboost code, and the throtte is really sensitive. I'm very happy with the preformance the truck with the tuner and have even smoked a 2004 mustang GT.

But I was just wondering if:

Has anyone else uses the superchip tuner on an LB7?

Any information I should know about this tuner? (Dangers/problems)

Does anybody know anything about these tuners?

Not too many people use them, that's all I know. And should tell you something.

I have one. It is a good low cost tuner. I like mine and ran it exclusively for 2k miles. Since I tow alot, I needed to buy gauges, wanted digital, and eventually gave in and bought the Juice with Attitude (really good price!). The superchip tow tune is comparable to the Juice level 2, and the performance tune is comparable to Juice level 3. The superchip is actually a decent tuner. Not quite as much low end as juice but still good. The only thing I disliked was the peaky power in the tow tune at 1,500 rpms. Oh, and yes I did get the overboost code when towing in the performance tune. I still have the tuner, use it for code reading/clearing, and when I get the trans upgraded, I plan on stacking it with the Juice.

In short, if you like it run it! Also, I don't think it has enough power to hurt the trans, mine is still running fine at 32k. :ro)

I ran a superchip for about a year. Nice tuner. Did notice a little surging when turned up. 14.3's all day with just superchip. Got killer deal, only paid $275. I'll give that bang for the buck in my book.
