Does anyone have pictures of an aftermarket grille, something similar to the Denali look. Wifes new Yukon XL Quadsteer needs a nicer grille. Any recomendations on a particular brand? I was looking at PUTCO. They have two I like. The punch and the racer.

I just got my putco punch grille tonight and was suprised to find that it looks like a flimsy piece of tin. I guess it will look fine installed but I was expecting something a little more substantial than a glorified beer can.

Whoever told you that is a lying sack ofCensored . You would think that it should be that thick. I am not impressed in the least. It should look fine but if anyone looks close at your truck it is pathetic. It is not as thick as a CD.weaverism

I just installed the grille. CRAP! -:t This thing is crap! It might look good from 20 feet away but it is a poor fitting flimsypiece of crap. I am very dissapointed! If that is what you get for $115 now days I am very dissapointed. If yours shows up and is 1/4" thick let me know so I can send mine back and go ballistic. As it is now I might send it back anyway.

I would send it back. Contact the manufacturer and let him know you are displeased with the poor quality product.

I purchased a Cloud Rider grille from Tony Nostedt about a year ago. Cost was $102 US incl/shipping (they are made in Canada). Tony is on this forum (Max Power, I believe). The number to Rathwell Hardware is: 204-749-2013. I have been very pleased with the product. Don't know how thick you are looking for, but it was thick enough for me... Very pleased...

I purchased the same grille not to long ago. When it arrived it had a big bend in it from shipping. It is extremely thin and really cheap. I decided against installing it. Sent it back to get a refund. Package was damaged even further in shipping and was returned back to me. Fedex paid for it. Now i have a wavy free grille. Really crappy looking. Take my word for it don't get it. -:t

I got the Putco Punch grill insert. Its a screen front. I wouldn't expect it to be 1/4" thick. Its not a replacement grill. Got mine as seconds off Ebay for $45 bucks.

I bought a Putco Designer FX Punch Grill for my new 2005. I was expecting something real thin but when it arrived I was suprised how heavy it was. The designer series is specifically made for GMCs.

I have not installed yet due to the fact the truck won't be here until mid Feb.
