Im thinking that the 5.7 olds diesel is the same design as the 6.2, and if so, are some parts interchangeable? ie, the injection pump. The one on the car i have is leaking, and im prob gonna have to find some parts. Also its a ***** to get it out, im guessing i need a 90 degree wrench to get those bottom bolts out? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Completely different engine and fuel system. If you pull the injectors out of that 5.7 you'll probably laugh because they're about the size of spark plugs. Injection pumps are completely different, however, if you can determine that the pump itself is what is leaking, and if you can find someone or a fuel shop that has one, you can probably get it dirt cheap, nobody who has them wants them anymore.

6.2 & 6.5 are "Kissin Cousins" and have some interchangeable parts, negative on the 5.7
