What options should I get in a new 2500 CC LMM?

Any to avoid at all costs?

Remote Start and backup sensors are pretty cool. I would suggest you get the camper mirrors, the standard mirrors just aren't big enough for me.

I can't seem to get used to the Dual Climate control gauge cluster and buttons, I miss the easy to turn and set knobs.

I purchased a 2500HD/LTZ!

It came with auto start, leather full power seats, auto windows, auto foot pedals, XM, 6 disc cd, marker lights, sporty wheels, wood grain

Sharp truck :D:ro)

We specifically went for the 40/20/40 from cloth bench seats since we sometimes take trips where we need to pack 6 adults in the truck. That front center seat isn't comfortable enough for a 6 hour trip, but an hour or so ain't bad. Also prefer cloth to leather anyway since it's cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than leather. And in anything you drive aggressively, cloth holds you in place better.

Concur on the Remote Start. Didn't plan on it, but ours came with it already and we love it.

We weren't even planning to get XM since we like head units with well integrated iPod controls, but again the truck came with it. It mixes in nicely with the AM/FM tuner.

Definitely get limited slip.

If you tow much, the integrated trailer brake controller is nice since it varies the braking force depending on the pressure you apply.

Add another one for remote start...definitely very nice, especially on hot summer afternoons (it starts cooling down the truck) or cold winter mornings. Heated seats are nice too. I've got leather, don't know if it is an option with cloth. Definitely consider the camper mirrors. Before I bought mine I didn't like them but the truck on the lot had them. Now I'm glad I've got the larger mirrors. There are still blind spots but it would be a lot worse with the smaller mirrors.

I wouldn't really say that there's anything to avoid...a lot of it is comes down to personal preference and what are you going to be using the truck for.

I don't know how much you want to spend, but there is another Stampede conversion here in South Carolina. If you search for my introduction thread, you can see just what it looks like. The one they have left is Pewter in color. Let me know and I can put you in touch with the guy that sold me mine.

Less than the 60/80 front/rear GM wants us to run 24/7 regardless of load. Like 50/50 empty for best ride, wear and handling safety. What say ye?

I opted for the rear sliding window, but after looking at it closely, its such a small window that I doubt you will be using it. If you opt for the sliding window, you will lose the rear defroster.

I recommend to NOT go with the rear sliding window.

The rest of the recommendations here above seems to be good options to have.

Best of Luck to you!
