My father and i are sersiouly considering getting the Husky boxs. We found them at Home Depot for 199. I know that prolly seems cheap compared to a weatherguard, but oh well... Anyways, anyone have problems w/these? We are looking at the single lid boxes.
I doubt it would happen but my only concern w/them is the lid coming into the back window or something especailly when its windy...So im thinking of installing it the backwards to avoid that, and also then at night ill have the added light of the cargo lamp...

I had one on my 93 ext cab. Never had a problem with it. I also got mine from Home Depot. Check and see if it has crossmembers under the lid, mine did, I stood on it several times, packed things on it, and it never caved in. One thing to check, see if the latch is on the end of the box not on the backside. I saw very few that had the latch on the end but I sure enjoyed it!!! I loved that box!!! I now have a box that is half the width as the husky was and still have all my stuff in it. Gave me about a foot back in my bed.

I have the husky, they have a model that fits flush with the bed and has a notched lid so that you can open without hitting the bed or window. You have to look for them or sometimes ask, they are not always on display with the others...probably because they cost about $50. more.

I got an underseat storage box for sale. Will fit most E/C GM trucks. Asking $200.
Some dealers were listing them for $600 + !! PM me.
