Ok.. I have read that the LB7 allison could hold 90hp? What hp can the LLY allison handle without much trouble?? 65hp or 85hp on the predator??

With the edge mine would hold level 4 (90hp) With the predator it seems to hold 85hp level but the 100hp level will slip with ease. To be on the safe side i would say 65hp level.

Unlike some tuners, the Predator does not appear to "protect" the trans during shifts. This makes you go faster, but if you are running a stock trans, you might be better off with the Edge or other products that protect the trans.

Me? I knew I would be beating on my truck, so I just bit the bullet and upgraded the trans.

which tuners protect the trans on shifts?? I thought only the Juice/*** did this??? Does the TTS tow tune?

Yes, TTS Tow tune still has the defuel working during shifting like the factory program. The reason we limited it to 50 Hp was our testing showed the transmission would not take anymore for a long period of time. We wanted something that would allow the stock transmission to live a long time.

A couple more questions I thought of today.

- does the Hypertech or Quad defuel on shifts?
- Did any of the 90ish hp chips for the LB7 defuel on shifts if not what is the difference that the LLY can only hold 65ish hp instead of 90ish hp.

Thanks
Lynn

The LLY is starting from a higher power level.
605 tq vs 520 in LB7.

It's more torque than hp limit u need to watch.
