Did a little more investigating under the hood this morning. The driver's side bank of glows all measured 1.7 ohms from the tab to the battery ground, cept the back one which is open and needs to be replaced. The passenger side.... UGH! Yeah, I see where you can get at the front two from inside the wheel well, but the back two are gonna be major pains! Didn't check resistance on any of them.

I also found where some of my oil is disappearing to. One of the worthless oil cooler lines is leaking again, and I just put brand new lines from the dealer on last fall. It's leaking right where the rubber meets the aluminum, as usual. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried using a hose clamp around the aluminum there to seal them up again?

Also took a look at my balancer and pulley. They look alright to me, but I don't have any experience other than looking at pictures posted here. What do you guys think?

I use ac hose clamps on my oil lines - no leaks, ever.
Replacement requires only rubber hose, if aluminum tubing\fittings are serviceable.

Not a cure for heat-hardened neoprene hose, but you should be able to cure leaks in those year-old lines quite nicely.

Pull both lines, do both ends of each.

Carefuly make two saw cuts axially, one on either side of crimp.
Pry apart and aluminum crimp will break, or saw around end circumference of crimp for easier separation.

Use ac clamps, or heavy-duty heater hose clamps, with the hex-head stainless screws.
May be little more difficult to find, but stainless will take the required pressure.

The pulley\hb look ok from this side, but you need to rotate the crank 180deg to see the other half-circle.

Also need to closely check 360deg view from rear

When the rubber web re-settles from long-term torque-stress, the center hub\bolts hit the pulley crosses, but the rubber web may appear good.
ANY contact requires replacement.

The rubber part of the cooler lines slides overtop of the aluminum tube, so you can cut off the crimped part and replace with a hose clamp? Where do you get stainless hose clamps with hex head bolts? I'm pretty sure those are the ones I use all the time. The have tons of them at the local farm store. They tighten up with a 5/16 socket or flathead screwdriver.

Also... I rotated the balancer and pulley by making a mark on it for reference, and then climbing out from under truck, hitting the key for a split second, and climbing back under. The reference mark I made was out of site, and all rubber I could see looked good too. So I'd guess I saw 80-90% of the rubber on the balancer and the pulley, but it's hard to tell.
