Dont do this...the sub outputs on teh non-luxury Bose amp are garbage and your subs will sound like doo-doo.
Buy a PAC AOEM-GM24 (around 40 bucks depending where you buy it) and hook it up like that. You will be much happier with the sound. ;)
You will probably have to buy this online, DONT go to a local stereo shop; they will try to sell you a fancy line output converter and tell you "its the same thing".

I hooked them up earlier today, i tapped into the sub wires like i was suggesting, the is before I got home today and read your post, however it sounds awesome? I can't find the wire to use as a remote. One that allows amp to stay on with radio when key is off until doors are open, looked the part up on Ebay, and says it provides that wire, do you guys have one of these? and does it work?

I did a write up on mine. http://duramax.onlinedesk.net/subwoofer/
I used a PAC adapter the 2nd time.

Yes, the PAC adapter has a sub turn on wire on the unit. That's really the right way to go. You think it sounds good now... it will be a night and day difference with PAC adapter. Like buying a new LCD tv... looks awesome hooked up, but when you turn it from channel 4 to the game on an HD channel you understand what its ALL ABOUT :D

Andrew, the way you did your first setup is the way I done mine. I will probably be ordering the adapter, but were you able to find a remote wire that stayed on with the radio when you shut the key off untill you open the door?

Yes, the PAC adapter made a big difference and has a remote wire.
When I first hooked it up without a PAC adapter I just hooked into one of the fuses in the dash that was on the accessory circuit. I dont remember exactly which one.
