I was running my truck today and went to pull out from a traffic light then the Service throttle soon light came on and it would idle but wouldnt acclerate. I shut it off, started it up and it ran fine? Anyone know what it could be? I heard this could be signs of a bad gas (fuel) pedal. :(

Limp mode but you will have to pull codes history to maybe see why it went there, this on the 06 in your sig or a 6.5, if on the 06 you need to log question in the Dmax forum

I figured it out somebody removed your acelerator module and put a GAS pedal on your Diesel. :D:D:D If this is a 6.5 you are talking about the APP, since it went away it is hard to make an educated guess as to the why it happened, again check history to see if a fault or 2 are logged in there

I checked and there where a few old codes but it looks like the most recent code is for a Fuel solenoid signal to slow #1216

Sorry no this isnt on my 06 dmax its for my 1996 3500HD 6.5 TD :o:

I do not know if this makes any difference. My truck does the same thing everytime it idles. It is leaking vacum that is causing it. I fixed it one and it went away for 6 month but it is back.

I fail to understand how a leaking vaccuum system affects fuel delivery or its electronics. Please explain.
