Where is the lift pump location on the 05 DA? I cannot find it - it is not in the same location as my 02 was? HELP!

There is no lift pump on any stock Dmax fuel system.

OK - if not called a lift pump, where is the fuel pump located. I'm old and senile - take pity on your elders John - one day you'll get there. LOL Along with that question. Chev dealer told me not to use a standard 6 way fuel valve on a D/A as the main line on the valve was only 3/8 and the d/a line is bigger, as well as the return line being bigger too. I have 100 gal aux tank and the stock tank and need to use the valve, and also know it has been done by people of this board many times. What did you use for a 6 way valve? Thanks - I need to get my F A out of this cold weather soon and off to Mexico and Guatemala.

gardnerteam, the lift/boost/prime pump etc. is part of the high pressure pump assembly. It is buried between the rocker covers down deep out of sight. You can see a photo here. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/fnsblum2004/detail?.dir=7b47&.dnm=3c13.jpg&.src=ph
Later! Frank

My 3/8" 6-way valve that was supplied as part of my American Tanks aux tank kit has performed flawlessly for three years and 94,400 miles now (passed 1200 gallons of fuel through the 3/8" supply line from the aux tank and 5000 gallons total). The dealer is off base on his line restiction claim. The OEM fuel pickup has a small orifice in it that's probably only 3/16" in diameter! I've had no fuel supply or return issues and have never heard of anyone else with a 6-way on a Dmax.
