I just purchased a used 2004 6.0 PSD F250. On the Radiator shroud is an official looking decal saying

"Ford authorized modifications"
"PCM Program"
"4U 7A"

Change authority "04846"

Anybody have any idea what modification was made to this engine?

My guess would be the revised program for the injector situation that ford had.

They've had a ton of reflashes done to them. Especially the 03s.
