I just bought a new to me 06 that has a sunroof. It is very loud. Does anyone have any ideas to make it quieter? It does not leak any air. Do i need a deflector on the roof? thanks

it should have a spring loaded flap that pops up when the sunroof is open, i know without that its very boomy....

No, nothing to be done. Wife's '04 loaded Yukon does same thing. No leaks, just very audible wind noise via the pane of glass. Remember, there is no sound deadening, like in the rest of the headliner.

It's like a car driving by your house. You don't really hear it behind a wall, but if you are standing next to glass......you do.
