I have a strange issue happening with the driver’s side heated seat. The driver’s side heat functions work fine until I have some sitting in the passenger seat. The only time the driver’s side works correctly is when the passenger turns on their heated seat control but as soon as they turn their control off mine will then shut off. Any ideas why this may happen? I have checked for any loose connections or pinched wires under both seats and everything seams fine. Thanks for the help.

Also driver side seat functions forward/baack are reversed? Plugins all look factory untouched What's up??? Musta been built on Fri buy a Smart AZZ:mad: Need to decipher color code wires and swap switchs wires(frt/bk function)

Sounds like you have a bad ground on the seat/window! When not grounded it will cause all kinds of funny stuff-- don't ask me how I know!:cool: If necessary run additional grounds.:rolleyes:

You could also try and have the dealer reflash or reprogram the body control module and the seat control module. My heated seats are possessed and come on whenever they want. It has gotten much better since I had the reflash at the dealer.

I just got an 02 Denali, I was so excited to have heated seats finally, but the drivers side one doesn't work! all three other ones do. Is there a fuse or a common place to check for bad connections? Is the element burned out, and can it be changed easily? I really want the bun-warmer for winter.

-update for driver seat module will fix your concern for the seat switch being reversed. not positive about the seat heat issue but the seat heat switches signal the door modules which signal the driver seat module through class 2 to activate seat heat.
